asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he is yet in a position to announce a date for the publication of the report by the Director General of Telecommunications for 1984; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Pattie

The first report by the Director-General of Telecommunications is being published today. It covers the period 5 August 1984 to 31 December 1984. Copies of the report have been laid before Parliament.
