§ Mr. BeithA review by the Commission's staff inspector of the grading and pay structure of staff in the House Departments was begun in December 1982. Fourteen reports, covering various aspects of the organisation and staffing structure of the Departments, have so far been presented to the Commission and released to management, unions and staff for their comments. The Commission has asked the staff inspector to present his recommendations on the grading and pay linkages of all levels of staff by the end of June.
