§ Mr. DunnWe have received a small number of letters from members of the public; and earlier this year I met representatives of the National Association of Head Teachers to discuss their views on this matter. As my right hon. Friend has made clear in response to the Swann report and on other occasions, the Government have no plans to propose changes in the existing statutory provisions on religious instruction and collective worship in schools, and we look to local education authorities and individual schools to ensure that the statutory requirements are met.
