asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he is satisfied with the training of hospital medical and nursing staff in basic cardio-pulmonary resuscitation; and if he will make a statement.

Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation —CPR— is included in general professional training then decided to discontinue the sale of Flenac in the United Kingdom and withdrew it from pharmacies on 31 July 1984.

We have received seven letters concerning Flenac since it was withdrawn from the market.
