§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe report was submitted to the Department's chief scientist at the end of 1984 and, in accordance with the normal practice of peer review, referred to external scientific referees. Their comments, together with those from within the Department, were discussed with the authors who are considering whether they wish to make any final minor revisions before the report is published.
