§ Mr. LuceWe were aware of reports that some Falashas were able to leave Sudan, with Israel as their final destination, but not of the project now known as Operation Moses. There was no United Kingdom involvement. The movement of Falasha Jews to Israel is a matter for the Governments of Israel and Ethiopia, the country of which the Falashas are citizens.
