§ Mr. Bestasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will refer a product, the name of which has been supplied to him, to the Committee on Safety of Medicines.
§ Mr. Kenneth Clarke[pursuant to his reply, 9 January 1985, c. 519]: I am advised that this should not be considered a medicinal product within the meaning of the Medicines Act 1968. It is, in our opinion, a food and therefore the subject of the relevant food legislation.
