§ Mr. LeeMinistry of Defence police officers have authority to act as required in respect of civilian staff and all other persons on Ministry of Defence premises in the United Kingdom. The duties of the force, in common with other police forces, include the prevention of crime, the detection and arrest of offenders if crime is committed and the protection of life and property.
