§ Mr. Craigenasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if, following the latest increases in interest rates, he will revise the rate fund contribution limits fixed in the draft order for 1985–86.
§ Mr. AncramNo. The aggregate rate fund contribution limit of £89.5 million contained in the order is the maximum amount which can be afforded for rate subsidies to housing current expenditure in Scotland in 1985–86 consistent with the total expenditure on housing in Scotland and the recently announced provisional allocations for the capital programmes.
