§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what level of support he plans to allocate to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children during the next two years.
§ Mr. John PattenThe Department will provide £167,000 in the financial years 1985–86 and 1986–87 towards the headquarters administration expenses of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. In addition, the Department will provide £35,000 during 1985–86 towards the society's programme to second its staff for social work qualifying courses.
