§ Mr. Heddleasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will reduce the minimum criteria for the inclusion of unused and under-used parcels of land in public land registers from one acre to half an acre.
§ Mr. MacfarlaneMy right hon. Friend does not propose to do so at present. The resources that would be required for this task are at this stage better devoted to securing the disposal of or bringing into use land that is currently registered.
