HC Deb 14 January 1985 vol 71 c6W
Mr. Andrew F. Bennett

asked the Prime Minister which trustees of the national heritage memorial fund have been appointed because of their professional, or former professional interest and involvement in nature conservation, scenic conservation or the promotion of public access to, and enjoyment of, the countryside.

The Prime Minister

As I indicated in my reply to the hon. Member on 4 December 1984 at column127, the present trustees have a wide range of experience and interest demonstrated. I am satisfied that the trustees have a sufficient knowledge of countryside matters to bring to their task.
