§ Mr. RifkindTwo members of the commercial department of Her Majesty's embassy, Peking attended the opening day (29 November) of the electric power and water exposition in Tianjin, China. They met the British exhibitors before the opening ceremony, attended the ceremony, escorted the Chinese dignitaries through the British stands and talked to the British exhibitors over lunch and in the afternoon at the exhibition. The commercial department of the embassy also assisted and briefed those exhibitors who contacted them at the embassy during or after the exhibition.
