§ 42. Mr. Beithasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he has any plans to revise the list of people authorised to countersign applications for passports.
§ Mr. WaddingtonWe have no present plans to amend the notes which describe the qualifications required of persons who countersign passport applications. The occupations mentioned on the application form are as the notes indicate intended only as a guide: other people of similar standing are acceptable.
