Mr. Simon Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what proportion of the moneys which they have been entitled to spend under (a) section 137 and (b) section 142 of the Local Government Act 1972 have been spent in each of the last six years by (i) the Greater London council, (ii) each of the London borough councils, (iii) the Common Council of the City of London, (iv) each of the metropolitan county councils and (v) each of the metropolitan district councils.
