Mr. Gorst

asked the Attorney-General if he will introduce legislation to ensure that banks, building societies or any other organisations likely to undertake conveyancing work are excluded from doing so in any circumstances in which a conflict of interests might arise as a result of working for both the vendor and the purchaser.

I have nothing to add to previous statements on this topic. No legislation is contemplated during the present Session of Parliament.
