Mr. Bagier

Mr. Allan Stewart

The total sums spent by the Scottish Development Agency on promotion and marketing for the financial years 1982–83 and 1983–84 were £5.3 million and £7.2 million retrospectively. The agency expects to spend around £9.1 million in the financial year 1984–85.

These amounts represent expenditure, exclusive of salaries, on marketing and promotion at home and abroad, in pursuit of the full range of the agency's functions.
