§ Mr. GoodladThere have been no power cuts because of shortage of generating capacity, though electrical faults do occur from time to time which can cause disruptions of supplies in local areas. I have asked the chairman of the Electricity Council to write to the hon. Member with details of such interruptions that have occurred since October 1984 and have lasted over 1 hour.
