HC Deb 27 February 1985 vol 74 cc216-7W
Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will advise health authorities not to reduce the supply of incontinence pads to parents of children incontinent by reason of physical or mental disability without first undertaking an individual assessment of need.

Mr. John Patten

We would expect such an assessment to be made before reducing the supply of incontinence pads, but it is a matter for health authorities to decide locally.
