Mr. David Young

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what information he has, in respect of each local authority, and for each year since 1979, regarding (a) the number of mortgages granted, (b) the number of mortgages in respect of which payments have been rescheduled and (c) the number of cases in which an authority has repossessed a property on which it had advanced a mortgage.
