HC Deb 25 February 1985 vol 74 cc72-3W
Mr. Wareing

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what representations he has received about the possible closure of his Department's offices in Liverpool; how many have been concerned with the office in Parthenon drive; what his reponse has been; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Whitney

The only representation we have received about the possible closure of any of the Department's offices in Liverpool is a letter of 14 February from the hon. Member for Liverpool, West Derby. We will reply to the letter on completion of our inquiries.
