§ Mr. Michael SpicerThe Department does not produce short-term forecasts for passenger traffic. However, the Department's latest long-term forecasts assume that domestic passenger movements will increase by between 2.4 and 5 per cent. per annum in the period 1982 to 1990. (table 2, Air Traffic Forecasts for the United Kingdom 1984). A copy of these forecasts is in the Library of the House.
