§ Mr. Macfarlane[pursuant to his answer, 18 February 1985, c. 328–9]: In my reply to my hon. Friend's question on Monday 18 February I said that I had no plans for further amendments at present to the Caravan Sites Act 1968. There are, of course, a number of technical amendments, consequential upon the proposals to abolish metropolitan county councils. These are contained in schedule 8 to the Local Government Bill now before Parliament.
