§ Mr. Chapmanasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, in the light of the appeal court decision in the case of Pocock v Steel on 16 November 1984, he intends to introduce amending legislation at the earliest opportunity to safeguard the position of an owner who has let his property temporarily under case II of schedule 15 to the Rent Act 1977.
§ Mr. GowI understand the concern about the implications of this decision for some of those landlords who have let their property under the provisions of case II. I am considering what action might be taken.
