§ Mr. Peter MorrisonWe have no plans to introduce compulsory transfers for young people on youth training scheme programmes after six months. The scheme is a voluntary one, offering 12 months of quality training and planned work experience, and trainees may leave at any time. Some programmes do involve more than one work placement but this is normally made clear to the trainees at the outset of the programme.
