§ Dr. McDonaldasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to his answer given on 10 December 1984, Official Report, columns 372–4, concerning changes in the level of income tax and national insurance contributions, if he will publish a similar index for the same household type at an increased level of half the average earnings.
