§ Mr. LawsonWhile I recognise the group of eight's concern about the level of public expenditure on construction, I believe the group's main channel of communication with the Government should be through my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment and my hon. Friend the Minister for Housing and Construction. I understand that the Secretary of State for the Environment will be meeting representatives of the group of eight on 25 February. The Chief Secretary to the Treasury will also be present.
