§ Mrs. FennerMy Ministry maintains a continuous dialogue with establishments carrying out research on its behalf. One of the purposes of this dialogue is to ensure that the work undertaken is of an acceptable quality. The content of the research programme is also kept under regular scrutiny. Agriculture Ministers will be taking account of the advice of the priorities board in determining how Departments' research resources are to be allocated in future.
