§ The Prime MinisterResponsibility for control of the netting of salmon in the Solway Firth rests with the north west authority in English waters and the various district salmon fishery boards in Scottish waters. Within the Government, responsibility for these matters rests with my right hon. Friends the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the Secretary of State for Scotland respectively.
