§ Mr. John Stradling ThomasLocal authority financial returns submitted to our Department do not separately identify expenditure on tourism and tourist-related projects. However, details of revenue expenditure on certain relevant services, including tourism promotion, leisure centres, cultural facilities and country parks, are available for all local authorities in "Leisure and Recreation Statistics," published annually by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy. In addition, authorities' annual reports may identify expenditure on specific tourist-related services and projects.
