§ Mr. DunnThe Department has no information that any school has been asked to stop teaching physics from 1985 onwards. Ministers have on a number of occasions made clear their view that all pupils, including all girls, should be properly introduced to science in the primary school and should continue to study a broad programme of science education throughout the first five years of secondary schooling.
