§ Mr. StanleyThe NATO staff target for a long-range stand-off conventional missile calls for the evaluation of an air-launched and ground-launched capability. However, work is focussed primarily on an air-launched weapon. The use of conventional ground-launched cruise missiles does not currently form part of NATO defence plans.
