§ Mr. StanleyFull statistics relating to the pay of service men can be obtained from the annual reports of the Armed Forces Pay Review Body and the Top Salaries Review Body which, following their consideration by the Government, are published and made available to the House. However, for ease of reference the following table provides details of the maximum and minimum daily rates of pay for male officers and soldiers in the Army. The maximum rates for soldiers include the highest level of lengths of service increment payable to each rank. The rates of pay for Royal Navy and Royal Air Force personnel are broadly equivalent rank for rank. Rates of pay at 1 April 1982 are given so that the increase since June 1982 can be seen.
