§ Mr. Geoffrey Robinsonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many men, and how many women are currently living in his Department's reception centres; and if he will give comparable figures for each year since 1974.
§ Mr. Whitney[pursuant to his reply, 29 January 1985, c. 166]: On 30 November 1984, the latest date for which figures are available, there were 1,528 men and 50 women living in the Department's resettlement units (formerly reception centres). Comparable figures for previous years are:
