§ 25. Mr. Gareth Wardellasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, in view of the decision not to carry out a census in 1986, he will proceed to carry out a 10 per cent. household survey for England in 1986.
§ Mr. Macfarlane:We are considering commissioning a large-scale household survey in England in 1986, involving about 1.5 million households. A decision will be announced in the spring.
