§ Mr. Dobsonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will make a statement on the number of times his Department's office at 1 Melton street, London NW1, has been closed to the public.
§ Mr. Whitney:The office has been closed to the public on five separate occasions since 27 September 1984 because of a number of electrical failures and problems with the newly installed boiler system. The Property Services Agency, which is responsible for the maintenance of such equipment, is urgently investigating the causes of the problem.
