§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsI have made frequent official, political and personal visits to Mid-Glamorgan and will continue to make such visits. I presently have no plans to meet representatives of Mid-Glamorgan county council.
§ Mr. Ron Daviesasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will make a statement on the conclusions of the report, "Deprivation in Mid-Glamorgan", from Mid-Glamorgan county council, a copy of which has been sent to him.
§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsThe report, received on 25 January, makes recommendations about designated area status in Mid-Glamorgan. The details on which the recommendations are based will need further discussion. I am arranging for that.
