HC Deb 04 February 1985 vol 72 c431W
13. Mr. Snape

asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will arrange joint discussions with the Greater London council, London Regional Transport and his Department in the light of the court judgment of 11 January on the funding of London Regional Transport.

Mr. Ridley

I have offered discussions between my officials and GLC officers in the light of my announcement on 29 January, about my intention to legislate following the High Court judgment.

18. Mr. Cohen

asked the Secretary of State for Transport how many meetings he has had with the Greater London Council to discuss London Regional Transport in the last six months.

Mrs. Chalker

I have had three meetings involving the GLC in the last six months, but LRT has not been discussed as the GLC has not had responsibility for LRT in that period.
