§ The Attorney-GeneralI regret that no figures are available for 1980 to 1982. In 1983, 27 appeals were 383W heard. 21 were dismissed, three were allowed but the applications were subsequently withdrawn, and no order was made in three cases. In 1984 35 appeals were heard, 31 were dismissed and four allowed, of which in one case the application was withdrawn, one dismissed and two are still pending.
