§ Mr. TrippierUnder the Manpower Services Commission's local training grants scheme, a retraining package has recently been negotiated with a Grimsby employer which will result in up to 60 locally redundant fishermen being retrained and offered permanent employment in the offshore oil industry. Redundant fishermen may also be assisted through the commission's programme of enterprise skill and work preparation training for unemployed individuals.
