HC Deb 19 December 1985 vol 89 c311W
Mr. Dobson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will now reply to the question No. 70 of the hon. Member for Holborn and St. Pancras tabled for answer on 4 December concerning revenue allocations to London health authorities.

Mr. Hayhoe

I refer the hon. Member to my reply to him on 17 December at columns145–48.

Mr. Dobson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what the chairmen of the Bloomsbury, City and Hackney, Lewisham and North Southwark, West Lambeth and Lambeth social health districts have represented to him about the adequacy of funding of their health authorities in the talks he had with them in the current year.

Mr. Hayhoe

There have been no such talks this year with the chairmen of these district health authorities. Funding by district health authorities is a matter for the regional health authorities concerned.

Mr. Dobson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will bear in mind any sponsorship arrangements when allocating funds to regional health authorities; and whether he expects regional health authorities to bear sponsorship funds in mind when allocating funds to districts.

Mr. Hayhoe

No.
