§ Mr. WhitneyA few representations about food irradiation have been received recently from hon. Members, organisations and members of the public. We expect to publish the forthcoming report on the subject by the advisory committee on irradiated and novel foods early in 1986 for public comment. The representations already received will be fully considered in the light of the report, along with other comments received on it.
