§ Mr. Wyn RobertsThe powers in the Cycle Tracks Act 1984 to convert footpaths to cycle tracks are discretionary, and it is for the local authorities concerned to decide what use to make of them. To assist them we shall shortly be issuing a circular giving advice on the Act and the associated regulations.
