§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will now publish the outturn figures for 1984–85 for compensation payments to National Health Service staff in respect of redundancies and early retirements, in the manner described in the Government's reply to the First Report from the Social Services Committee of Session 1984–85, breaking down the figures to distinguish between competitive tendering and other cases.
