§ Sir George YoungOn its first advance claim for 1985–86, Lambeth LBC estimated its entitlement to housing subsidy as £36.8 million. On its second advance claim form, the council estimated its entitlement as £42 million. Pending a satisfactory explanation of the reason for the increase, payments of subsidy are continuing on the basis of the first advance claim form. Payments will be subject to adjustment in any case when the audited final claim for the year has been received.
