§ Mr. YoungerThe Department of Agriculture and Fisheries for Scotland has today published a paper entitled "Strategy for Agricultural Research and Development." It reports the outcome of the consultation process, outlines 745W future strategy and the implications for the present organisation of research and development in the Scottish agricultural research institutes and the Scottish agricultural colleges, and sets out proposals for improved co- ordination and management of Research and Development in Scotland and its effective integration and co-ordination with similar work throughout the United Kingdom.
Copies have been placed in the Libraries of both Houses.
