§ Mr. Tom Clarkeasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the amount of new money that was added by the Scottish Office to the 1985–86 budget of each health board in respect of support finance.
§ Mr. John MacKayHealth boards have been set indicative levels of expenditure on support finance projects totalling £6 million in the current year. From within that total, expenditure on projects approved before 1 April 1985, amounting to some £2.9 million, will continue to be met from funds held centrally. Expenditure on new projects is to be met from health boards' financial allocations, which include the following sums distributed from the uncommitted balance of the funds formerly held centrally:
