HC Deb 10 December 1985 vol 88 c609W
Mrs. Renée Short

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services when he expects to be able to provide a detailed analysis of the costs and benefits of his proposal for a selective vaccination policy against tuberculosis; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Whitney

I refer the hon. Member to my reply to the hon. Member for Crewe and Nantwich (Mrs. Dunwoody) on 6 December at column395. The joint committee on vaccination and immunisation will continue to monitor data on the incidence of the disease and will reconsider the benefits of a switch to a selective vaccination policy before 1990.
