asked the Secretary of State for Wales how many fatalities have occurred in the past two years on motorways in Wales; and how many of these accidents occurred at places where lanes have been restricted due to repair work.

During the two years ending 15 August this year there have been 14 fatalities on the M4 in Wales. One of these fatalities occurred where lanes were restricted due to repair work being carried out.
