- (2) what information he has on the current percentage of capacity in use in the United Kingdom cement industry;
- (3) what information he has on the current production for home consumption of the United Kingdom cement industry;
- (4) what information he has on the current production for export of the United Kingdom cement industry.
§ Sir George YoungThe capacity of the United Kingdom cement manufacturing industry is approximately 15.8 million tonnes pa. Some 85 per cent. of this capacity is currently in use. Out of the total production of 13,195,849 tonnes in the year 1 October 1984 to 30 September 1985, 115,438 tonnes were exported.
